Pretty paper snowflakes

tenderly resting upon a shelf
They are lovely and fill the void that is January!
You know, taking down the tree and such leaves your house feeling a little bare.
I am sure a lot you people love that clean, less crowded look. Generally me too!
Just not in January.
Outside is dead, cold, and barren.
(especially this year...even the sky is drab due to the smoggy inversion! Thank goodness the sun came up today to lift my flu season spirits!)
This is not how I want my home.
These have perked the place up a bit!
the tv nook above my fire place. odd space to fill. it wants a tv, I think. its not quite a mantle and its shadowy
Yes, I aware the hurricane is crooked...its currently straight!

ya know what i think would be super cute in that little nook if you can't put a television there? Although, I think it looks really cute how it is. But just to dress it up you could put wallpaper there. It wouldn't even be that much money since it's such a tiny space.

Those looked so cute in your house! They look harder to make than you described! I like January - I just want it 10 degrees warmer with air I can breathe!

Those are so pretty! I need to learn how to make those.
